We provide a free sight test that checks your prescription when you purchase prescription lenses or glasses from us. This service is our way to help assist those who do not have insurance for eye exams.
Please note we are unable to provide comprehensive eye exams and eye health check ups that an Optometrist performs.
For children under 18 or seniors age 65 and over, Alberta health covers eye exams at an optometrist. For adults, it is still recommended that you have a full eye exam once every 2 years to check for eye health.
We are able to direct-bill many insurance companies for prescription glasses, lenses and prescription sunglasses on your behalf. Certain policies may have limitations or restrictions. Remember to bring your insurance details for us to best assist you. Please ask in store for details.
If you have reached the age of 65 or older, you may be eligible to receive optical assistance for seniors. We are able to process this benefit when purchasing a pair of prescription glasses from us.
For eye exam coverage, please visit a local Optometrist to receive a regular eye health checkup and prescription.
Nose Pad Installation
Do you have a plastic frame with non-adjustable nose pads? Depending on your frame, we can install a pair of adjustable nose pads onto your existing pair of glasses. May require physical cutting and removal of the original nose pads on the plastic frames. See in store for pricing and availability.
